...with painting. You know, paints are wet.
Anyway, have been having a little fun messing about with acrylic paints and hope to buy some more canvas soon so I can continue painting. Have no idea how I will upload them (Pictures? I guess?) but I plan to become at least more active in the artist community. Now that my toes are wet, I want to go swimming.

And Baby Makes Three
We had our son! Drake Alexander was born Jan 5, 2012 at 10:38 am. He weighed 9 lbs 3 oz and was 21 inches long. He was born via emergency c-section. No worries- everyone came out of that one alright :)

Baby on Board
Wow it's been a long time since I have posted anything here. Not a lot going on with me really, except that Brian and I are expecting. I have a lot of time on my hands now and I might just try to get back into drawing.
I have been busy crocheting and making the baby blanket, as well as trying to eat better and healthier... that's why I had mac n cheese for dinner?? don't judge.
Anyway, that's whats been going on here. :D
Baby is due late Dec-early Jan
Been Busy....
Sorry for the lack of posting. I have started working with a local comic book company and getting things up and running. I've colored a piece or two since then, and once my husband gets all the pages finalized, I can start inking and coloring those. I wish I could show you all what I've done, but since I technically dont own the story or the art, I'd rather not.
I do have some pieces that I have been working on though that I will finish. One is a meme (YAY) and another is one of the drawings my husband did in his spare time. I find I really enjoy coloring more than drawing.
It's so much easier for me.
I hope to get some things done soon so
Remembering Cayden 2003-2007
I know a lot of people might not see this, but it's near and dear to my heart. A friend of my mom's lost her little boy in a tragic accident two years ago today. My husband drew a memorial "comic book" for him. Please visit his story and memorial site, and of course, hug your loved ones closely. Tell them you love them.
Read his story: http://www.wftv.com/news/14504549/detail.html
Read my mom's poem: http://mandatorybloghere9.blogspot.com/2008/11/witness.html

Cayden changed so many lives in such a short amount of time.
